Emart Holdings Sdn Bhd has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Borneo Kemuncak Riang Sdn Bhd (BKR) during the Propex Exhibition, marking a key milestone in the retail and real estate sectors of the region. The ceremony, witnessed by deputy chief minister Datuk Seri Panglima Dr. Joachim and representatives from the Sabah Housing and Real Estate Developers Association (SHAREDA), confirmed Emart Hypermarket as the anchor tenant for BKR's upcoming mixed development project, Boulevard 360 Bundusan. This marks Emart's second outlet in Sabah. Temporarily, Emart will operate at Boulevard 360 Bundusan's sales gallery until the project's completion, after which it will occupy approximately 50,000 square feet. Ngu Ting Sii, Managing Director of Emart Holdings, expressed excitement about enhancing Penampang's retail landscape, while BKR Director Lee Chee Kiang emphasized the strategic significance of this collaboration. SHAREDA President Datuk Chua Soon Ping commended the partnership, noting its potential to create a landmark destination in Bundusan, benefiting both businesses and the community. The mixed development aims to create a thriving community hub with residential, commercial, and recreational spaces, with Emart expected to draw significant foot traffic and enhance the project's overall appeal.
